Frequently Asked Questions.
How often do I need to follow up with my doctor?
Typically, patients are recommended to follow-up with a visit every 2-3 months. This can vary depending on the individual patient and plan.
Am I able to schedule an in-person visit?
Our practice is 100% telemedicine. There are no options for in-person visits.
How long will it take to treat my condition?
There is unfortunately no way we can predict how long treating your condition will take. Our goal is to get you healthy as soon as possible so that you don’t need to continue seeing us!
In which locations do you see clients & patients?
We currently only see patients & clients in the US and Canada.
Do you accept insurance?
No, we do not bill insurance companies nor do we participate in Medicare or Medicaid.
If you have an HSA or FSA account, those funds can usually be used to pay for Naturopathic visits. We recommend checking with your insurance company prior to scheduling a visit.
You will be required to pay for your visit at the time of service with debit or credit card. Payment forms that we accept include Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Patients are required to leave a valid credit card on file which will be automatically charged if payment is not made at time of service.
You may request a superbill at the time of service, which you can submit to your insurance company as a claim. It is soley the patient’s responsibility to work with his/her insurance company regarding reimbursement. We do not guarantee reimbursement nor do we communicate with insurance companies on behalf of patients.
If your insurance does not cover naturopathic care, use of a Health Savings Account (HSA) or flexible spending account may cover our services. Check with your employer to see if one of these options is available to you.
Are treatment plan items covered by insurance?
Most of our treatment recommendations will include over-the-counter topicals and supplements. Supplements are sent via FullScript. They will be priced at a 25% discount for all of our patients. These are not directly covered by insurance, but some plans allow you to use your HSA or FSA card for these. Prescriptions will be used as needed in states that allow naturopathic doctors to prescribe medications. In this case, you may use your insurance to fill these at your pharmacy.
What is the cost of each visit?
